The Genesis of the Academy

Horsehall was born from a desire to condense decades of scattered equestrian knowledge into a structured, accessible educational format. What began as a personal endeavor to organize a vast collection of clinic notes, seminars, and classical literature soon captured the attention of industry publishers. Recognizing that the depth of information was far too comprehensive for a single publication, the concept evolved into a progressive series of educational texts designed to standardize foundational horsemanship.

Elevating the Standards of Horsemanship

As the academy grew, it became clear that adult amateurs and industry professionals alike lacked a standardized, accessible pathway to classical mastery. We observed that many modern competitive environments were burdened by high travel expenses, time constraints, and a cut-throat atmosphere that detracted from true sportsmanship.

To counter this, we collaborated with an international network of elite judges, coaches, and trainers to build a curriculum deeply rooted in classical principles—inspired by historical institutions like the Spanish Riding School. Our focus remains steadfastly on the natural gaits of the horse, rewarding classical harmony over modern gadgets and fads, and explicitly prioritizing the long-term athletic longevity of the animal.
